Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among
women. It is the second leading cause of cancer deaths among women. Although this
cancer cannot absolutely be prevented, you can reduce your risk of developing
this disease.
These are some of the precautionary measures you can take to
prevent breast cancer.
Eating
food that are rich in fiber and protein in every meal can help reduce the risk
of cancer. Reduce or eliminate all refined sugar, eating vegetables and whole grains can also help.

suggest that there is a link between cancer and radiation so reduce exposure.

vitamin D is effective in prevention of cancer. It is recommended that 200 (IU)
of vitamin D should be taken to reduce risk of breast cancer in women. Sunlight
is the cheapest and best way to get vitamin D and reduce the risk of breast
cancer.
The
longer a woman breast feeds her baby the more she reduces lumps in her breast
thereby reducing the risk of breast cancer.

Check for breast lumps regularly:
Lumps
are the easiest way to detect the presence of cancer related hormones so check
for lumps regularly when taking your bath.
If breast
cancer is detected on time and treated well, there is a great chance of
survival.
