BREAST CANCER

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women. It is the second leading cause of cancer deaths among women. Although this cancer cannot absolutely be prevented, you can reduce your risk of developing this disease.
These are some of the precautionary measures you can take to prevent breast cancer.

1.       Eat a healthy diet:
Eating food that are rich in fiber and protein in every meal can help reduce the risk of cancer. Reduce or eliminate all refined sugar, eating vegetables and whole grains can also help.
2.       Stop smoking:
Smoking in general increases the risk of so many diseases especially cancer in general.

Research suggest that there is a link between cancer and radiation so reduce exposure.

8.       Breast feeding your baby:
The longer a woman breast feeds her baby the more she reduces lumps in her breast thereby reducing the risk of breast cancer.
9.       Check for breast lumps regularly:
Lumps are the easiest way to detect the presence of cancer related hormones so check for lumps regularly when taking your bath.
If breast cancer is detected on time and treated well, there is a great chance of survival.
